ØWhat is worship like at Bethel?

One of the most asked questions people want to know is what type of music and worship does Bethel do.  Bethel is an intentionally blended worship style, using fresh new contemporary songs as well as classic hymns and hymn arrangements.  We do that in order to minister to every generation that worships with us each week.  Bethel is a very diverse age span, we consider it a multi-generational congregation.  We seek to be authentic in our worship in order to honor the Lord and lead others to worship Him freely.

ØWhere is Bethel located?

Bethel is located at 3257 East Cottonwood Road, which is approximately 1.5 miles outside of Ross Clark Circle.

ØWhat about my kids?

We LOVE kids at Bethel!  In addition to nursery care for all services we have Worship Kidstyle (1st – 6th Graders) Let kids worship...like kids! That's what Worship KidStyle is all about. Fun music videos with motions lift hearts and hands to God. Cool arts and crafts bring focus on the Creator. Attention-holding, life application videos tell stories kids can relate to! TeamKid - Theme: Jumping the Hurdles. "Often life is full of hurdles that children have to jump to succeed. This TeamKID provides help with these hurdles through a study of God's Word. Each of the 43 meetings presents a different hurdle ranging from controlling anger to being dependable. Fun activites, games, and teaching methods will help children learn about each hurdle and how God will help them overcome it. Plus, each week has a missions emphasis related to the truth for that meeting."Preschool TeamKID  Theme: Phyme 'N' Reason. This TeamKID leads preschoolers to encounter and connect with the "rhythm of God's rules" set forth in the Bible.

ØWhat do people wear?

The dress at Bethel is as diverse as the people.  Some wear suits and dresses and others wear jeans, t-shirts, polo shirts, or camo.

ØHow does the Pastor preach?

Our Pastor tends to preach through one book at a time going through it verse by verse.  We do believe and teach that the Bible is ALL truth without any error.

ØI'm Deaf, can I worship at Bethel?

We do have ASL interpreters for our 8:15 am and 6 PM Sunday services as well as Wednesday 6:30 PM service for our deaf community.  We also have a deaf Sunday School class.

ØI've visited worship a few times, what is my next step?

We encourage you to find a Sunday School class next.  This is where you build friendships and connect to a group of people to serve with and that will love you and walk with you through life.  Simply go to the welcome desk or find a minister and we will help you find the right class.  Feel free to visit several classes to find the one that you fit into. We encourage all potential members to attend a 6 week new member class offered during the 9:00 AM Sunday Bible study time.

  ØHow do I join Bethel?

If you are considering joining we encourage you to talk to the Pastor or another minister first.  They can help guide you through the process. We do accept membership by 1) salvation and baptism by immersion 2) transfer of membership from another SBC church 3) statement that you belonged to another Christian church and were baptised by immersion.

 ØWhere do I go?

Click HERE to view a campus map.  You can always go to the welcome desk located near the worship center for help.

You come worship the Lord as God has geared you to do at Bethel, just be yourself.
